Healthy Valentines Treats

It is almost Valentine’s Day!  For many of us that means Valentine’s Day Party’s for the children!  As a child care center we often have parents concerned about the amount of sugary treats during the holiday parties, rest assured we do not provide these, our parents do!  We are always on the hunt for fun healthy but child friendly treats for special occasions.  Let me tell you it is very hard to get our 88 children to eat Heart shaped veggies.  Below are just a few fun ideas that most children and the teachers at school/daycare will love.

Halloween Fun At Brookview!!

We will be having our annual Halloween Celebration on Thursday October 31st.  The Toddler, Transition, Preschool and Jr Kinder groups will have their party in the morning from 9:45am—11:30am. Please send your child dressed in their costume and we will undress them for lunch.

The Kindergarten group will have their party during stay up time from 12:30pm—2:30pm. The OSC will have some special activities throughout the whole week and can come dressed in their costumes on Thursday October 31st.

We will not permit children to wear violent costumes and have accessories such as swords, guns, etc… Please keep these at home.

If you would like to bring treats for the children, please send enough for your child’s room (10 Toddlers, 6 Transitions, 16 Preschoolers, 18 Jr Kinder & Kinders, 36 Out of Schoolers) All treats can be given to your child’s teacher and will be distributed during rest time and placed in bags to be taken home. Due to many allergies at the center, we ask that you do NOT send anything with NUTS or NUT PRODUCTS.
